Orlando’s 3 Best Sushi Restaurants
Raw fish with rice, the simplest and most complex Japanese dish at the same time, has conquered the world and also the cuisines of Orlando.
Sushi is an art form, just like any other culinary discipline with hundreds of years of history. Although many people equate sushi with raw fish, traditional Japanese sushi is cooked or marinated. Many sushi enthusiasts may be surprised to learn this, but it’s true! It wasn’t until the mid-nineteenth century that a Tokyo chef decided to try serving raw fish with vinegar-seasoned rice, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, sushi has become a popular dish around the world, and there are so many different varieties to choose from, from maki rolls to nigiri and even vegan-friendly options. Anyone can always find something new and exciting to try.
However, respect for religion and tradition is important in Japan, and bringing it to other countries is not always simple, but there are some good examples of restaurants in Orlando where sushi is valued as the culinary gem that it is.
At Immers3d Magazine, we wanted to pay homage to this delicious cuisine by featuring some of the best sushi restaurants in Orlando.
Whether you’re looking for traditional flavors or something unique, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. As renowned French chef Paul Bocuse once said,
“Sushi is one of the most beautiful and healthy culinary art forms.”
