Going over the menu at Bonsai Sushi Orlando with Owner Chun.
At Immers3d Magazine, we always want to know what the chefs like to recommend.
Hi Chun! We know you’ve been in business for 16 years and you’ve won several awards for being one of the best sushi places in the Dr. Phillips area. You have a fairly intense menu of varieties so we know that it is difficult to choose your favorites. However, what would be the dishes that you would undoubtedly recommend at Bonsai Sushi?
We see you have elaborated on some of your favorite dishes for us. Can you tell us a little bit about it?
-Yes, I have prepared today, 2 of our Signature appetizers: the first one is;
Bonsai Sushi Yellow Tale Carpaccio

Spicy Tuna Crunch Nigiri
Spicy Tuna Crunch Nigiri: It’s a fried rice ball with minced tuna on top, and scallions, drizzled with spicy may on top.
-Then we have the signature rolls:
The Turner Roll.
-This is the Turner Roll, named after Brian Turner, one of the strongest men in the world. This roll has, Tuna, Salmon, Yellow Tail, and our signature spicy sauce inside. It is topped with scallions, masago, jalapeño, spicy mayo, and siracha.

Benefits of Sushi
In case you didn’t know, Sushi has a lot of health advantages since the fish in it is the major fuel for the brain! Fish is high in necessary proteins and fats, which help to focus the mind, enhance attention, and sustain energy. Omega-3s nourish and repair brain cells, and fish is also high in vital proteins and fats.
It is beneficial for your heart, your brain, and your life.
Eating sushi makes both your stomach and you happy. It has a high concentration of protein, vitamins, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids. As a result, it has the potential to relieve or even prevent depression.
Now that you know some of the benefits, let’s explore what to eat when you go to Bonsai Sushi
Give your name to a Sushi Roll at Bonsai sushi Orlando.
– Chun, we’ve also heard that at Bonsai, sometimes you have customers that like to order “in a particular way” their sushi rolls. Sometimes their creation becomes a roll in your menu and it’s named after them. What is that about?
-Oh yes! So we’ve been here for 16 years now, and we have created fan-based customer relations. A lot of times people come in and will tell me what they like and don’t like, so I’ll create a certain sushi roll and end up putting it on our board of specials. If they end up doing very well, then we’ll put it on our menu. If you go through our menu, you’ll see it has many different names of people, our customers. This is more like, basically an extended part of our family. so when you come here, it’s kind of eating with our family.
This is a very unique idea. We love it. So now, you know that if you become a regular customer of Bonsai and maybe you’ll get your name after your creation.
After trying their sushi, we agree that Bonsai Sushi earned a reputation as a renowned culinary creator and educator in our community as experts who are committed to their art.
