Adelita’s Mexican Seafood Restaurant invites you to come experience the delicious “Pulpo Sarandeado”
Pulpo Sarandeado at Adelita’s Mexican Seafood Restaurant
After being seated, I decided to order the Pulpo Sarandeado and the house Margarita, which was highly recommended by our server. As I took the first bite of the Pulpo Sarandeado, I knew I had made the right decision.

Pulpo sarandeado is a dish that captures the essence of the ocean and elevates it with robust and lively flavors. The real hero of this dish, without a doubt, is the octopus. The secret to nailing this dish is all in the technique of cooking the octopus. You’ve got to grill it over some hot coals until it’s crisp on the outside while still being juicy and tender on the inside.
This octopus is infused with a bright, zesty flavor that perfectly complements the smoky grill. This will impart a smoky flavor and a beautiful char that will elevate the dish to new heights.
The end result is a breathtaking plate that highlights the elegance of uncomplicated yet savory cuisine. This octopus is a sensory delight—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The bold and spicy marinade adds depth and complexity that take the dish to a whole new level. Pulpo sarandeado, whether savored solo or paired with some charred veggies or a rice and black beans, is a dish that’s bound to tantalize and captivate even the most sophisticated taste buds.

Margaritas at Adelita’s Mexican Seafood Restaurant
Next up, the House Margarita was nothing out of the ordinary. While it had the classic combination of tequila, lime, and triple sec, it was just okay. The balance of the ingredients felt off, and it lacked the complexity that makes a good margarita.
But my palate was in for a treat with the Tamarindo Margarita. The sweet and sour tamarind flavor complemented the tequila, making it an irresistible drink that I couldn’t get enough of. The Tamarindo Margarita was so good that I ended up ordering another round.
However, the best margarita by far was the Cadillac Margarita. It was a decadent drink with a perfect balance of sweetness and tang. The premium tequila was complemented by the Grand Marnier and lime, making it an elegant and luxurious margarita that’s perfect for a special occasion.
Overall, my experience at Adelita’s Mexican Seafood Restaurant was a hit.
While the house Margarita was lacking, the Tamarindo and Cadillac Margaritas made up for it. But the star of the show was the food.
And as for the Pulpo Sarandeado, it’s a must-try dish. I’ll be coming back to try their “Pescado Sarandeado.” This “pescado sarandeado” recipe is a crowd-pleaser and will make you feel like you are sitting on a beach in Mexico. It’s the perfect dish for summer cookouts or any time you want to spice up your dinner routine. The result is a smoky, tender, and spicy fish that will transport you to the sunny shores of the Pacific Ocean.
The chef at Adelita’s is a true masters of his craft. Using fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes to create dishes that immerse your taste buds to the streets of Nayarit. From Tacos de Birria to zesty ceviche, every bite is a celebration of flavor.
